Base Flow assisted American Rivers and Littleton Water & Light with a current condition assessment and 15% conceptual removal designs for Littleton Reservoir Dam located in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. A topographic survey including a detailed longitudinal profile and cross sections provided essential data to assess potential vertical and lateral channel adjustment post-dam removal. The profile was also used to assess fish passage and estimate impounded sediment volume, and was compared to similar data collected under a previous study. Additional data collected during site inspections supported the development of a conceptual removal design and an opinion of probable construction cost (OPCC). An inventory of pool depths was collected to estimate the systems ability to scour and further assess post-dam removal channel adjustment, to inform resetting of an existing infiltration gallery that supplies water to the Town.
